DENVER – Hundreds of University of Colorado faculty, staff and alumni and their families bundled up to enjoy CU Night at Denver Zoo Lights on Dec. 3.

The event featured the Denver Zoo aglow with colorful animated lights, warming stations, animal demonstrations, carousel rides and an appearance by CU Santa.

Attendees were encouraged to donate unwanted household items, clothing and small appliances to Goodwill Industries of Colorado. Temperatures dropped into the teens at the snow-covered Zoo, but that didn’t stop the CU alumni from bringing bundled-up children to see the lights spectacle.

CU Night at Denver Zoo Lights was organized by the Office of Outreach, Events and Alumni Relations.
